We've found these amazing Tunisian Crochet hooks. Tunisian crochet is craft that falls midway between knit and crochet - these hooks with a long tail (which can be shortened) with a wooden bead to stop the stitches falling off the end. We've worked a few rows over a few stitches to show how it's used.
The hooks can be used for making anything from a narrow slipper strap to a wide blanket. We've worked a little example of the basic stitch for the photos. They can, of course also be used for regular crochet work. Made from carbonized bamboo the hooks are lightweight and have a nice smooth finish. Overall length 48" (122cm).
