Sarah DIY Crochet Slippers - Use Own Yarn

This kit uses your own yarn. You will need 100g (4oz) of chunky wool yarn.

Our Sarah crochet slippers for ladies (US size 3-14) are a simple, easy to make crochet style. This version of the Sarah crochet kit comes with step by step printed crochet pattern, soles, sewing needle and extra strong waxed thread for stitching on the sole. These cute slippers are easy to make and comfortable and cosy to wear. A lovely design for feet large or small - as with all our adult slipper designs the Sarah slipper can be made in women's sizes from 3-14.

The slipper kit contains two layers of felt soles, optional outsole and extra strong waxed thread and bodkin to attach the outsole. Available with a choice of felt, suede or Vibram rubber outsoles.

If you choose the felt outsoles they will come with a latex paint applied to give just a bit of grip. We make the suede outsoles from strong and supple Italian suede which grips well on most surfaces, and our flexible Vibram rubber sole is undoubtedly the best for grip and hard wear as well as being waterproof. All styles include two layers of our thick wool felt for warmth and cushioning. 

Joe's Toes slippers are cosy and lightweight. They pack very easily for visiting friends and family, and are an ideal gift to pop in the post. The crochet pattern is comfortable for all foot shapes and will adapt to suit many feet.

  • NO YARN! We also do this kit with yarn
  • 1 pair thick felt insoles
  • 1 pair thick felt outsoles with latex grip OR a second pair of felt soles and a suede or Vibram rubber outsole
  • Super strong thread and a blunt needle for stitching up 
All in a handy organza bag, ideal for gifting or storing your project and finished slippers. 

We've chosen our favorite combinations insole and outsole. Just add a note to your order if you'd like to change any of the sole colors. We haven't seen a bad combination yet! 

All goods are shipped to you direct from the Joe's Toes workshop in Yorkshire England. 

We aim to ship all orders within a week, most of our goods are made to order specifically for you.

Our standard shipping is Royal Mail Airmail: $7.95 This service is UNTRACKED. It has proven economical and more importantly very reliable. We use this for 95% of our shipping.

7-14 working days on average Royal Mail Airmail is by far our most popular option. It DOES NOT include tracking but has proved safe and reliable. 

Transit times to the USA vary between a few days to 3 weeks plus. Typically 7-10 days. All goods into the USA are liable for inspection by US customs and this can add extra time.

 

If you would like to upgrade to a tracked service or use your own courier account and have already placed an order please contact us a.s.a.p. orders@joestoes.co.uk as we often ship the same day as we receive your order. 

Our slippers, kits and bits are made to order for you, but we try to keep at least a few pairs of everything cut and ready to go. We aim to ship all orders within a week and it's usually only one or two days. If it's urgent do let us know and we'll try our best to help. 

Our standard service is Royal Mail Air Mail, it is untracked but has proved very reliable. On average packages arrive in the USA and Canada within 10 working days, sometimes under a week and just occasionally longer. All packages into the USA must clear USA border control.

If any charges are made for any import costs, such as sales tax, duties, and clearing fees. these are the responsibility of the customer. In practice we have not heard of any charges being made. 

Please note we won't consider a package as lost until 30 working days have elapsed. 

RETURNS

For unmade kits and bits, we are happy to offer a refund within 45 days of purchase.

To be eligible for a refund your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It should also be in the original packaging although we do know you'll have had to open it! To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, though, to be fair, we should have a record here.

What if I start making the kit and it goes horribly wrong? 

This is most unlikely but if you do get stuck message us and we'll sort something out.

Custom made goods, such as made up kits may be returned only at our discretion (after all with over 4.000 possible combinations we may not find another customer for your goods). Please contact us to discuss this. Email returns@joestoes.co.uk 

Refunds 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If it is approved your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or Paypal account as soon as we can and in any case within 30 days.

Exchanges

We can replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange, send us an email at amanda@joestoes.co.uk and send your item to: 9 Field Lane, Brighouse, GB HD6 3NX, England, United Kingdom. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary but we will do it as quickly as possible.

Shipping & Refund of Shipping Costs

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 9 Field Lane, Brighouse, West Yorkshire, HD6 3NX, United Kingdom.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Please obtain proof of postage. If the goods are faulty or we have made an error we will refund your postage.

If you are shipping an item over $60, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

Please contact Paypal your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
